The DevCom 01 ZigBee Module is a fast solution to the development of IEEE 802.15.4 and ZigBee applications.

DevCom ZigBee Module is a standard module intended for manufacturers of industry- and consumer products. The module makes it quick and easy to make wireless technology an integral part of existing products. As indicated by the name, the module is based on the open worldwide standard, ZigBee, containing an immense potential.

With DevCom, Develco has confirmed it's position among the worldwide front-runners  regarding knowhow and utilization of ZigBee.

The module comes with a 24-pole connector with access to different I/Os. It contains an internal antenna as well as a connector for an external antenna. The DevCom 01 ZigBee Module is available as a module with standard software or as module with customized software developed by Develco A/S in close co-operation with the customer.

The module is based on Freescale's MC9S08GT60 CPU and MC13192/193 2.4 GHz ZigBee compliant radio.

The board is supplied with software based on Freescale's IEEE 802.15.4 MAC.

The modules are preloaded with MAC based cable replacement software.

As a part of the DevCom Module, Develco can also deliver a development platform. In this way, you can develop software directly on the module that is going to be incorporated into an existing product. The platform is supported by Freescale's ZigBee development environment - BeeKit. This software includes demo versions of ZigBee profiles.
