 Power Supplies
In modern electronics, power supply is an essential element. Beyond the evident requirements of functionality and price, there are very high demands on operating life and a low inherent power consumption.
Develco designs several kinds of power supplies (PSU). A PSU may be a stand-alone unit, or an integrated part of a product.
Linear AC/DC:
Transformer-based regulator with or without a serial DC/DC regulator for stabilization.
Switch mode AC/DC:
From small 1W units with extremely low stand-by current to kW units with PFC.
Linear DC/DC:
Series regulators in different flavuors, current limited, overheat protected etc. Power regulators with cooling and small LDO's for battery-powered devices.
Switch mode DC/DC:
Step-up, step-down, SePic etc. from W to kW.
Chargers:
Lead-Acid, NiMH, Li-Ion, etc.
Inductive power transfer:
From small 1W chargers for connection-free units, to kW power transfer for moving units.
